The Medical / Surgical / Pediatric unit at Platte Valley Medical Center is located on the 2nd floor of the patient bed tower. The unit features 28 private patient rooms with guest sleeping accommodations to enhance patient privacy and safety. At the far end of the unit are six pediatric rooms met by a beautiful family waiting area, complete with floor-to-ceiling windows and breathtaking views of the entire front range mountains.
The unit is divided into six pods with a nurses’ station at each pod to enhance patient care and attention. Services on the Medical / Surgical / Pediatric unit include general medical nursing care, pre and post surgical care and monitoring, recuperation and health restoration.
