If you have ever had the flu, you know how miserable it is to be down for a week or more. Avoid the common complications of the flu this year and follow the Centers for Disease Control’s (CDC) recommendations, which strongly encourage a flu vaccine for everyone six months and older. In preparation for this flu season, the 2010-2011 flu vaccine will protect against three different flu viruses: an H3N2 virus, an influenza B virus, and the H1N1 virus that caused so much illness last season.
