Kathryn M. Hoch, M.D. is a familiar face to the north area. For over nine years, she brought new babies into the world and successfully treated the gynecological concerns of women from her previous practice in Thornton. She now brings her expertise and passion to the Platte Valley Medical Center community.
“I believe honesty is the best medicine,” explains Dr. Hoch. “Patients often come to me seeking a second, or third, opinion about surgery and frequently I’m able to share new choices and treatment options. I look at every patient as an individual; therefore my treatment plans are unique.”
Dr. Hoch compliments the outstanding medical team already established at Alcott Women’s Health Center with her specialties in laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgeries. Working alongside John Herlevich, M.D., Maureen Fleming, M.D., Denise Slusher, M.D., and Anna Kelly, M.D., Dr. Hoch is now seeing patients in the Brighton and Turnberry offices.
She received her medical degree and finished her residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. While teaching medical students during their OB/GYN rotation, she enjoyed sharing her enthusiasm for her specialty. She believes a physician should be a patient, attentive listener and demonstrate sincerity, especially when discussing options for treatment. Dr. Hoch also believes her relationship with her patients should last beyond the delivery room. Dr. Hoch loves to spend time with her husband and two daughters; she also likes to exercise, read, and travel in her free time.
