Dr. Cochrane believes his role as a pediatrician is to partner with families to ensure that their children flourish and reach their highest potential. He values parent education and shared decision making. Dr. Cochrane is particularly interested in prevention and treatment of childhood obesity, and believes in optimizing special education services for children. Dr. Cochrane believes that children should have a voice at the clinic as well as in the community, the state, and the nation. His advocacy efforts have been awarded by the Colorado chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Cochrane spends his free time with his wife and two kids. He also enjoys backpacking, bicycling, hiking, and visiting national parks.
